Hannah-Rose from Capture the Castle spent last Sunday at The Frock Exchange - the consignment store little sister of Belinda and the Corner Shop. For her latest post for The Corner Shop Hannah-Rose styles up some of her favourite pieces and sees what's in store at the Frock Exchange.

There's something about the thrill of a bargain that always makes the sun shine brighter - especially when it's been raining all weekend. I arrived at The Frock Exchange - nestled on Clovelly Road amongst German bakeries and cute cafes - when it was pouring with rain and after a couple of hours of playing dress ups and seeing what was in store (Isabel and APC and Alexander Wang oh my!) the sun came out yellow and true. Which was just as well because it was high time that I sat down somewhere nice, like Green Mango, for a bagel and a coffee. Clovelly is great like that - full of surprises and totally lovely.
The consignment store of choice, The Frock Exchange always unearths some amazing gems, whether they be excess stock from Belinda or The Corner Shop, or the pre-loved treasures from Sydney's most fashionable wardrobes. It's one of those best-kept secret locations, where you can take your time browsing and searching for something truly special. I found some amazing pieces when I was there for great prices - and they have a sale rack and box at the moment, with some things for $50 and under! And you can reward yourself with your savings by getting a pretzel or donut ball from Backerei on the way home. Sound like a good Sunday or what?
