Annie Hall

Woody Allen’s 1977 film Annie Hall was a detailed look at the relationship between Annie (Diane Keaton) and Alvy Singer (Woody Allen). A breakthrough in romantic comedies and one of Allen’s most popular films, Annie Hall has also become one of our favourite fashion influences.

While we may still be in the height of summer, occasional cool breezes have had us reaching for our blazers and striped sweaters in an effort to indulge our passion for winter layering. Annie’s wardrobe was filled with classic staples, the oversized blazer, relaxed fitting pants and crisp white shirts were among a few.

For the time being we are making the most of the fresh air and sunlight, but keep checking back because local autumn/winter collections will be arriving in the corner shop from February.

Jordan Askill

Newly arrived in store is the much anticipated range of heart rings from Australian designer Jordan Askill. Based in London, Jordan has previously worked for Dior Homme, Ksubi and Alexander McQueen.

Taking inspiration from the nostalgia of youth, fine jewellery methods of the past and the world around us, Jordan has created a range of beautiful, delicate and wearable jewellery designed to be treasured.

The Creative

Ben Briand is a director, writer, editor and photographer.
On Thursday 21st he presented a private screening of his most recent projects, three short films titled Apricot, Some static started and Castor & Pollux.
Ben's stylistic approach to film making was both refereshing and inspiring. The characters were beautifully crafted in a way that was emotive, honest and relatable.
The third film, Castor & Pollux, a collaboration with fashion designer Benah (Brenda Harvey) was a beautiful way to encapsulate the feeling of her debut collection, both hard and soft, unique and nomadic and featuring a variety of distinctive print scarves that are sure to become her signature.
